Meet Victoria Rich, Food Safety Consultant in Las Vegas

I’m Victoria Rich, a Las Vegas-based food safety consultant and the founder of Victory Compliance Specialists. I started this business because I saw too many operators struggling—not due to a lack of care, but because they didn’t have access to proper education, health inspection support, or clear guidance on compliance.

As a former health inspector with the Southern Nevada Health District, I know firsthand how confusing food regulations can be. Misinformation, language barriers, and a lack of support can make food safety feel overwhelming—but it doesn’t have to be.

My Background in Health Inspection & Regulatory Compliance

I spent 7.5 years at SNHD, beginning my career on the Las Vegas Strip, with my first assignment at the MGM Grand. I inspected:

• Restaurants, school kitchens, and commissaries
• Food trucks and mobile vendors
• Bottled water stores and water stores
• FDA- and USDA-regulated food manufacturers
• Supplement and dietary product facilities
• Farmers Market and associated permits

I also developed SNHD’s specialized inspection program for manufacturers, and collaborated with business licensing, code enforcement, police, and water reclamation. I led and supported outbreak investigations—including Legionnaires’ disease—and responded to pool, fire, and solid waste emergencies.

These experiences gave me deep insight into HACCP planning and training, permitting, emergency preparedness, and cross-agency collaboration—skills I now bring to my consulting clients across Nevada.
