Our Services

get certified with us!

The first step in becoming a food safety leader is to get certified! The certification we offer complies with the federal and local requirements to have a Certified Food Protection Manager on-site during all hours of operation at all food service facilities (NAC 446.052, NCCR 9.015).

In addition to ServSafe® certification, our team provides food safety solutions and consulting to State regulated facilities all over Nevada including but not limited to restaurants, food processors, dietary supplement facilities, bottling plants, water stores, farmers markets, large special events, childcares, detention centers, schools, assisted livings, and hospitals.

Our company works closely with many government and non-government agencies including the USDA, FDA, Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD), Code Enforcement, Business Licensing, Dairy Comission, Nevada Department of Agriculture and Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DBPH).

servsafe® applied training

Our teaching style is set apart from our competitors in that we offer in-house applied training to assist foodservice workers who learn by "doing".

Many foodservice workers struggle to apply their ServSafe® knowledge to their own kitchens. This can lead to challenges in passing health inspections, employee turn-over, and unsafe food handling practices. In-house applied training can be used to solidify ServSafe® knowledge with a hands-on experience inside the facility.

F.A.Q.

A passing score is 75% or higher. This is obtained by answering at least 60 out of 80 questions correctly. The exam has 90 questions; however there are 10 pilot questions that are for research purposes only.

All questions are multiple choice.

The ServSafe Manager Certification verifies that a manager or person-in-charge has sufficient food safety knowledge to protect the public from foodborne illness. Individuals that successfully pass the 90-question, multiple-choice exam will receive a ServSafe Manager Certification and wallet card. The ServSafe Manager Certification is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) under the Conference for Food Protection Standards.

This certification can be brought to the Southern Nevada Health District to satisfy the food handler testing requirement. The ServSafe Manager will not be required to take the health department test and will be issued a Certified Food Protection Manager Card with a 5-year expiration date.

The ServSafe Food Handler Certificate verifies basic food safety knowledge and is for individuals in food handler employee-level positions. This does not satisfy the requirement to obtain a Certified Food Protection Manager card from the health department.

You can retest only if you did not pass the examination, or if your current certification is expiring. You will need to purchase a new exam each time you need to retest. You can take the examination twice within 30 days. If you don’t pass the exam on your second attempt, you must wait 60 days from your most recent attempt before taking the exam again.

No more than four attempts are allowed within a 12 month period. You will need to purchase an new Exam Answer Sheet to retake a print exam.

Retests must be proctored by a Registered ServSafe Proctor. Contact the individual or organization that proctored your first exam and tell them you want to retest. Or find another exam location or proctor on ServSafe.com.
